A Legacy of Leadership and Advocacy

A Legacy of Leadership and Advocacy
Who We Are
INP+ works with people living with HIV, member organisations, communities, civil society organisations, and public institutions to advance rights, healthcare access, dignity, and meaningful participation. Through advocacy, network building, community-led services, capacity building, and evidence-based engagement, we strengthen the collective voice of people living with HIV and support more inclusive and responsive HIV programmes and policies.
Founded in 1997, the Indian Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS (INP+) is a community-based organisation representing people living with HIV across India. From its early work addressing stigma, discrimination, and limited access to treatment, INP+ has grown into a federation of member organisations across southern India, continuing its commitment to ensuring that people living with HIV remain at the centre of India's HIV response.
Our work brings together people living with HIV, member organisations, community networks, government institutions, civil society organisations, and partners. We strengthen community leadership, advocate for human rights and treatment access, build organisational capacity, promote the Greater Involvement of People Living with HIV/AIDS (GIPA), and respond to emerging needs through research, advocacy, livelihoods, social protection, and community-based support.
